The FCA have been clear that the Consumer Duty is 'not a once and done' exercise. Rather, 'it's an ongoing set of standards that firms must keep in mind at every stage of a products lifecycle and embrace as part of their culture'. You must continue to identify any gaps or weaknesses on an ongoing basis, by assessing, testing, understanding and evidencing the outcomes Customers are receiving. It's important that you review results regularly against your expected outcomes.
